Many things have changed, my life has changed and I have changed as well.
Sometimes I feel I’m still the same, but when I talk with my family and my friends back home, I realize I’m not exactly the same I was a couple of months ago. I see things from a different perspective and I stopped judging things I don’t agree with. I feel motivated to do so many things!
When I left Romania, I was sure after this internship, I’ll come back home, find a job and have a stable life. In a few months here, I completely changed my mind. Now I want to travel the world, to discover new places, new cultures, meet people and exchange ideas. It’s such a nice way to discover the world and discover yourself! I believe there is much to see out there and it’s a pity not to take advantage of it.
In only 6 months here I discovered so many things about myself and about this country I knew almost nothing about. I feel it is my second home.
I love Tunisia for the things it has been given to me, among the most precious being my friends.
Tunisia is one of those countries you love and you hate the same time.
I learnt to be more patient and to be stronger in order to achieve what I want. I learnt that one can love someone event if one cannot see him every day and someone can be your friend even if he/she lives on a different continent. Distance is so little when you care about someone.
I guess the most important thing I learnt is the fact that difficult things are not impossible. If you are crazy enough to take the risks, you can do amazing things. I am happy and I feel blessed for all these wonderful experiences. I became more aware of what is happening in this world and I learnt to appreciate more what I have.
